The Mandarin Oriental in Doha arranged for a city tour and Dhow cruise. Franny L’Oreal was our guide and she was absolutely wonderful. Her car was very comfortable and well equipped and she was delightful to spend a day with. Not only did she show us all the highlights but she explained so much of Qatari history that we developed a real appreciation for Qatari culture. Franny also accompanied us on a boat cruise at sunset to see the iconic skyline and we discovered that she is also a terrific photographer. We concluded our time with her walk-in in the Souq Waqif where she knew all the best shops and took us to see the falcon souq. All in all a wonderful day. I highly recommend this tour company.

Wow, wow, wow! What an awesome packed day me and my family had!! Hazem was such a fantastic guide! Everything was spot on but we loved the car dune bashing ride and the sand boarding was truly fantastic. The children enjoyed the camel rides and holding the falcons. It was a truly well organized and professional trip!! We are still buzzing with the great memories formed! The scenes of the inland sea and watching the sunset were mesmerizing.Thank you Hazem and Q Explorer tourism! We look forward to booking more adventure trips in the near future!!

It was a last minute organised tour, the last chance to have an experience in the desert before flying home.. and it was fantastic!!
Picked up at the hotel right on time, and then getting deeper in Qatari culture, thanks to Abdullah, the local guide, that during the short ride towards the sand explained to me local habits and traditions.
Camel riding, dunes’ sand surfing… but my favourite part was the car ride on the sand dunes!
Disneyland in the desert, a real fun.
Landscape is magnificent, Colors change constantly, from sand to sea.
Thé final touch, the sunset seen by the dunes, a great and unforgettable closure to My trip to Doha.

We had a sunrise desert tour. Booking was really great and easy, Fanny from the office was replying promptly to all my emails and responding to all my questions as the tour was slightly tailored for our likening. Guide and driver Hazam was also 10 out of 10, informative, friendly, punctual. Landcruiser was clean and comfortable. We got everything we wanted (dune drive, sunrise, swim in Inland Sea, sandboarding, falcon handling). Breath-taking scenery. It could not be better, everything was so perfect. As it was private tour and with so many inclusions I believe that a value for money was really good. I visited Doha a few years ago, however this visit to desert was much different experience and we were really really happy with the tour.

If you find yourself visiting Qatar, West Coast Tour and inland sea tour are the ones that I highly recommend. A few of us were visiting from New York City and we had Hazem as our guide for this and he created a wonderful experience for us. He was knowledgeable not just about the tour but, so many other useful and insightful things about this beautiful country. I’ve had multiple tours with Q- Explorer company and they are the best! Hazem was very accommodating and obliged to all our 100’s of photos we wanted to capture! He truly is the best hands down, we felt safe and had the most amazing experience!
